Message From the Producer

I thank you for the honor and privilege of being able to serve alongside you and bring the story of Sam Houston to millions of people across the nation.

Studying and teaching history is vital so that it is not lost. To chart our future course it is important to be able to learn from the triumphs and tragedies of the past, and to appreciate the contributions and sacrifices of those who came before.

Approximately $170,000 will be required to complete the documentary film on Sam Houston this year and continue to make the web-based resources available to teachers, school children, and history lovers everywhere.

If you have not already done so, take a moment to become a partner and support students, history lovers, and the education of future generations by making a tax-deductible contribution.
